クリーンエネルギー

Clean energy

LP gas is the main product of the Group. Among fossil energy sources (oil, coal, natural gas, and LP gas) both it and natural gas produce relatively smaller amounts of CO₂ emissions, and the gas emissions when burning it are very clean. As such, it holds promise as an immediately available tool for combating global warming.
It also has various distinctive characteristics that set it apart from other fossil energy sources. First, because it is easily converted to liquid form, reducing it to around 1/250th the volume, it is highly portable. This means that it can be supplied to various areas, including remote islands and mountainous areas not serviced by the utility gas infrastructure. It also makes for an immediate heat source for disaster areas.

Renewable energy

Renewable energy

The Group is actively engaged in the renewable energy business, utilizing clean energy to contribute to reducing CO₂ emissions.

As of March 2024, Sinanen Co., Ltd. operates seven megawatt-level solar power plants in Japan.
We also offer maintenance support services for solar power facilities and are contributing to the growth of the solar power generation business.

Renewable energy - 3

Sinanen Ecowork Co., Ltd. supplies RPF*, which is made from recycled wood chips, waste plastic, waste paper, and other materials. It is used in such applications as fuel for biomass power generation as an alternative to coal and other fossil fuels.

*RPF stands for "refuse derived paper and plastics densified fuel." It is a high-grade solid fuel made from industrial waste, primarily used paper and waste plastic that is difficult to recycle.

Streamlining of operations through LPWA*

Streamlining of operations through LPWA*

Utilizing LPWA-based IoT in the supply of LP gas, which requires meter reading, delivery, and security, we have improved security and operational efficiency and are working to increase efficiency of delivery.
These efforts are expected to help reduce CO2 emissions.

*LPWA stands for "low-power wide-area." It is a collective term for new wireless communication technology that originated primarily in Europe and, as the name suggests, it provides for communication over a wide area with low power.
