Himawari inspections

We conduct annual "Himawari inspections" free of charge to ensure safe and reliable gas delivery.

In addition to the mandatory quadrennial inspections required by law, group company Melife-West Co., Ltd., Melife Co., Ltd., and Melife-East Co., Ltd., which handle gas supply business, provides Himawari inspections as a free voluntary inspections so that our customer's requests.

the renovation business

We are engaged in the renovation business to create homes that people stay in.。

In addition to the gas supply business, group company Melife-West Co., Ltd., Melife Co., Ltd., and Melife-East Co., Ltd. have launched a renovation business as an effort to keep customer homes in good condition so they can live in them longer and more comfortably.
Helping customers stay in their homes longer reduces deforestation and preserves resources, thereby contributing to lower environmental impact.

recycle industrial waste

We are engaged in efforts to recycle industrial waste such as wood chips and waste plastic into fuel and raw materials.

Group company Sinanen Ecowork Co., Ltd. has established its own system for processing and recycling wood chips and is in the business of recycling industrial waste into fuels and raw materials.
As environmental awareness grows, we are actively promoting the effective use of resources to build a true recycling-oriented society.

We provide management services for vacant houses to solve the problem of abandoned houses, which is a nationwide social problem threatening the lifestyles of nearby residents due to their falling into disrepair.

Group company Hidaka Toshi Gas Co., Ltd. launched management services for vacant houses in February 2020. They provide regular inspections and manage the problematic growing number of vacant houses in Hidaka City, Saitama on behalf of the owners.

Promote various renewable energy business and contribute to build a Carbon-free society

Because we carry a wide variety of energy products, the Sinanen Holdings Group places value on limited global resources and considers how to provide energy with less environmental impact.

The Teneimura Solar Park

The Teneimura Solar Park in Fukushima supplies enough power to meet the annual power consumption demand of roughly 600 regular households through solar power generation.

Group company Sinanen Co., Ltd. established the Teneimura Solar Park, a solar power generation plant, in Tenei-mura, Iwase-gun, Fukushima in 2016.
The Teneimura Solar Park supplies power to Hatoriko Highland Regina Forest Resort where it is located as well as surrounding facilities to promote local production of renewable energy for local consumption.
This activity also contributes to the increased adoption of renewable energy, which is a goal of the village government.

energy solution business

We are developing an energy solution business that provides proposals for conserving energy in order to efficiently use limited energy and working to reduce environmental impact.

Leveraging the knowledge cultivated up to now in the energy business, group company Sinanen Co., Ltd. is developing an energy solution business for providing customers with optimal solutions from a neutral standpoint in terms of specific energy sources or manufacturers, thereby contributing to energy conservation and reduced utility expenses.

Sinanen-Denki (= power supplied by SINANEN)

We provide customers with power options by emission coefficient according to their use as environmentally friendly Sinanen-Denki (= power supplied by Sinanen).

Group company Sinanen Co., Ltd. has put together a power menu by emission coefficient verified by third party Japan Quality Assurance Organization (JQA). We provide a practically 100% renewable energy power option with an emission coefficient of 0.000 (kg-CO₂/kWh), which is rare to find even in Japan.
In March 2021, we started selling environmentally friendly electricity for households as "SINANEN Akari-no-Mori Denki".

recycle industrial waste

We sell wood chips and RPF* used as fuel for industrial boilers and biomass power generation instead of fossil fuels, which are expected to be exhausted in the future.

Promoting our bike-sharing business and developing healthy, environmentally friendly means of transportation

From ownership to sharing.
The sharing economy, which eliminates the waste of resources, has been growing in recent years.
The Sinanen Holdings Group operates a bike-sharing business in which customers can rent and return them anywhere, contributing to both customer comfort and the environment.

The DAICHARI bicycle sharing brand

The DAICHARI bicycle sharing brand provides an environmentally friendly transportation infrastructure that does not produce exhaust gases.

Group company Sinanen Mobility Plus Co., Ltd. partners with OpenStreet of the Softbank Group and uses the system of bicycle sharing service HELLOCYCLING to provide more than 12,600 bicycles at approximately 3,500 stations (as of March 31, 2024), primarily in Kanto.
We also partner with municipalities, participating in a system that utilizes bicycle sharing stations at convenience stores as disaster stations for citizens in the event of an emergency.

We operate a building management and maintenance business that ranges from facility cleaning to security and management in order to ensure that buildings can be used longer and more comfortably.

Group company Sinanen Axia Co., Ltd. contributes to safe and secure facility maintenance/operation as a specialist in everything from building management to hospital operational support and funeral hall management. And handles everything from cleaning work to facility management, including restoration work on apartments and condominiums, regular cleaning of shared spaces, and house cleaning services.

We launched a cultural reform project to develop a mindset of taking up challenges in each of our employees and establish a conducive environment. Our aim is to become an organization that is capable of responding flexibly to future changes in society.

We have established an action plan for supporting next-generation training and support various work styles according to the life stage of each employee.

That action plan entails (1) promoting awareness and behavioral reform for creating a corporate culture of completing work during working hours through no overtime days, a flextime system, and more, (2) promoting and implementing measures to shorten work days for those seeking to balance work with raising children or caring for family members, (3) implementing social contribution activities related to healthy development of children and raising children who are rich in spirit, and (4) promoting the taking of paid leave for enhancing the work-life balance of employees.

Since it was founded, the Sinanen Holdings Group has worked to promote understanding of SDGs and supported activities protecting the environment by raising awareness of the importance of renewable energy as a means to address the current global environment and global warming because its business is focused on energy.

The Group conducts the following activities to raise awareness of among children and students who represent the next generation in order to promote understanding of SDGs and renewable energy. The Group conducts online classes for students of junior high schools proactively providing opportunities to learn about the environment, and our group company Hidaka Toshi Gas Co., Ltd. cooperates with and participates in hands-on classes for local elementary school students, providing classes based on the theme of clean energy.

We have published a picture book for learning about the importance of protecting luxuriant forests to enable children and their parents to think about the global environment.

The Group's Sinanen Co.,Ltd. created the picture book entitled "CINNAMOROLL and POPONEN from Akari no mori" for the purpose of letting children learn about the realization of a sustainable society, protection of the global environment and the importance of saving energy in a way that is easy to understand as part of the SINANEN Akari no Mori project that began in 2020. This book will enable families to enjoy learning about protection of the global environment in a way that is approachable even for small children.
The picture book has also been distributed to kindergartens and nursery schools in areas where Sinanen interacts, serving to provide education on the environment.

Support for the employment of people with disabilities and contributions to local communities through cooperation with agriculture-welfare collaboration

In order to realize a society where nobody is left behind, Sinanen Holdings Group cooperates with "agriculture-welfare collaboration" initiatives for realizing a participatory society in which people with disabilities actively participate in agriculture.

In order to make a society where everyone can participate, we support agriculture-welfare collaboration activities in the aim of supporting the employment of people with disabilities through agriculture.

Since 2020, we have participated in the activities of Shizensaibai Party, which promotes agriculture-welfare collaboration in the aim of supporting the employment of persons with disabilities through agriculture. We are carrying out support activities related to "rice farming" in the rice paddies of Saitamafukko Co., Ltd., in Kumagaya City, Saitama Prefecture, and we are carrying out support activities related to "vegetable farming" of "Bamboo Village Farm" in Machida City, Tokyo. The rice and vegetables harvested there are donated to children's cafeterias in Tokyo and Saitama Prefecture.

For the healthy growth of children, we support activities for creating environments in which the children of the world can live in greater happiness through participation in the KIDS EARTH FUND.

Since 2019, we have participated in the interactive events for families held by The Mainichi Newspapers Co., Ltd. Various companies and non-profits provide easy-to-understand hands-on experiences and commemorative souvenirs to elementary school students. Since 2020, with the cooperation of group company Sinanen Zeomic Co., Ltd., we have helped children learn about everyday antibacterial actions in an event with characters called "Antibacterial Squadron Metallic Zeo."
