Groundbreaking ceremony held for the construction of Sinanen Holdings' new headquarters building

- Scheduled for completion in May 2024. Offices that will pursue symbiosis with the environment and communication as a general energy service company -

Sinanen Holdings Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo, President and CEO: Masaki Yamazaki, hereinafter "Sinanen Holdings"), a comprehensive energy-, housing-, and daily-life services provider, takes pleasure to announce that a groundbreaking ceremony has been held for the start of the construction of its new headquarters building.

At the ceremony, Ryuichi Morotomi, President and Representative Director of Hankyu Hanshin Properties Corp. (Headquarters: Kita-ku, Osaka City, hereinafter "Hankyu Hanshin Properties"), which is taking charge of the construction of the building, and Hideo Matsuoka, President and Representative Director of Fujikensetsu Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo, hereinafter "Fujikensetsu"), both participated and prayed for the safety and protection of the construction work.

About the construction of the new headquarters building and the relocation of headquarters

Sinanen Holdings will build a new headquarters building in Higashishinagawa, Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo, and plans to relocate its headquarters function to there by the summer of 2024. The construction site, Higashishinagawa, is the location where Sinanen Holdings had its headquarters and plant when it manufactured and sold coal briquettes and charcoal briquettes, a business it was previously engaged in.
The new headquarters building will be a six-story building (including the rooftop) with a total floor area of 3,311.23 m2, and is scheduled to be completed in May 2024.

An internal project was launched for the construction by interested employees within the Group in 2021. With a focus on younger employees aged in their 20s and 30s, employees of all ages participated in the project across companies and departments, with each step from the conceptual design of the office to examination proceeded with through the holding of workshops and discussions on opinions regarding the actions and communication hoped to be realized at the new offices.

The Sinanen Holdings Group aims to realize offices that pursue symbiosis with the environment and communication as a general energy service company at the new headquarters building. In addition, the Group will provide even more valuable services to customers, and at the same time, will contribute to the realization of a carbon-free society through its comprehensive energy-, housing-, and daily-life services business, from the land in Higashishinagawa, with which it has a historical relationship.
