  1. *1 Calculated based on the provisions of the "Act on Promotion of Women's Participation and Advancement in the Workplace" (Act No. 64 of 2015).
  2. *2 Figure for the acquisition rate of childcare leave calculated in accordance with the "Ordinance for Enforcement of the Act on Childcare Leave, Caregiver Leave, and Other Measures for the Welfare of Workers Caring for Children or Other Family Members" (Ordinance of the Ministry of Labor No. 25, 1991), based on the provisions of the "Act on Childcare Leave, Caregiver Leave, and Other Measures for the Welfare of Workers Caring for Children or Other Family Members" (Act No. 76 of 1991).
  3. *3 Regular employees are employed under the same salary system, and thus there is no disadvantage on the basis of gender. Due to the nature of our workforce, the average age of female employees is lower than that of male employees. This means that a higher proportion of young workers are women and affects the composition of our employee grades, creating a difference in the average salaries of the two genders. Additionally, while there is no difference in the wage systems used for male and female temporary workers, there are differences in the average wages, which are due to differences in job types and working hours.
  4. *4 "Temporary employees" includes part-time employees and fixed-term employees, but is exclusive of employees from temporary staffing agencies.
  5. *5 This figure is due to the hiring of one male temporary employee as a regular employee.
