■Toward achieving carbon neutral in Tsunan Town

With this in mind, Sinanen Holdings and NINEWATT have entered a basic agreement to conduct a demonstration project to (1) study specific measures to achieve carbon neutrality in the town, and (2) achieve carbon neutrality by involving townsfolk and changing habits.

■ Involving residents across the town to achieve carbon neutrality

NINEWATT provided the CO2 emission visualization system used in the demonstration project, which is combined with data from Tsunan and open data to construct a system that displays emissions for the entire town on a map. Based on the visualized CO2 data, Sinanen Holdings is taking the lead in diagnosing the energy efficiency of buildings in town, providing improvement plans, and building a program that enables follow-up.

The system is made available to the townsfolk via monitors at public facilities around the town and on the Tsunan website so that they can work with the local government on accelerating efforts to achieve carbon neutrality in the town.

We are currently studying how to fully introduce the system in the future based on the results of the project after building one tailored to Tsunan, briefing the town residents, and obtaining their cooperation. Based on the results of the demonstration, Sinanen Holdings plans to work with NINEWATT to offer a CO2 visualization system to the local government and to provide decarbonization solutions.

Sinanen Holdings aims to contribute to more comfortable living for all customers in their community, to decarbonization efforts, and achieving SDGs by providing various energy, home, and life services.
