■ Overview

Mobility PLUS has developed the "DAICHARI" bike sharing service, which makes travel fun and comfortable, with a focus on the three prefectures surrounding Tokyo and Osaka Prefecture. As of the end of December 2021, there are approximately 2,100 stations where "DAICHARI" bicycles can be rented and returned, and approximately 8,200 electronically assisted bicycles available for use, making the company the largest bike sharing operator in Japan.

On the other hand, under a situation where the number of "DAICHARI" partners has been expanding, there have been many requests stating "I would like a service that is available for facility users only" and "from a security perspective, I would like stations to be installed in places that only the condo residents can access."

For this reason, we have launched a "user only bike sharing" service that while making use of the advantages of bike sharing that allows for bicycles to be used 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, in accordance with one's wishes, solely through the use of a smartphone, also allows for administrators to limit users.

Administrators of the "user only bike sharing" service can freely set the number of stations as well as the number of bicycles and fees, etc., and therefore can set and customize individual usage and operating methods that suit the facility or condominium complex, etc., at which the service is being introduced. In addition, as the service is available to users only, it is highly likely that a bicycle will be available when a user wants one, and furthermore, the procedures from renting to returning a bicycle through to payment can be completed by smartphone, making it a convenient option.

In addition, with the objective of improving the convenience of transport for facility users, the "user only bike sharing" service has been introduced at "CAWAZ base," a complex workstation facility that offers a lifestyle that brings together "work" and "play." "CAWAZ base" has been constructed in the Koma district of Hidaka City, Saitama Prefecture, an area with a rich natural environment, and users of the workspaces and cafes will be able to take a refreshing break surrounded by beautiful nature, make use of their free time outside of work, and go for little shopping trips, etc., through the use of the bicycles provided around the facility, further increasing the appeal of "CAWAZ base."

Mobility Plus, through the development of bike sharing service "DAICHARI" and "user only bike sharing," which are a form of environmentally friendly infrastructure, will contribute to the SDG Goal 11 "Sustainable cities and communities," Goal 13 "Climate action," and Goal 17 "Partnerships for the goals."
