Social Contribution Activities
The Sinanen Holdings Group wants the children who will lead the next generation to experience the joy of working and has created a Job Coloring Book unique to a Group that has diverse concerns.
The Itsumo Arigato (Thank You) Essay Competition was started in 2007 when Sinanen Holdings
celebrated its 80th anniversary as a way to give back to everyone who has supported us.
We took entries from elementary school students nationwide every year, asking them to "write about your
feelings of gratitude that you find difficult to say face to face."
The Group values bonds between people.
This competition spreads the feelings of gratitude that create those bonds and helps promote warm feelings
and the healthy growth of children.
Since 2019, we have participated in the interactive events for families held every year by The Mainichi Newspapers Co., Ltd. Various companies and non-profits set up booths and provide easy-to-understand commemorative souvenirs and hands-on experiences to elementary school students. With the cooperation of group company Sinanen Zeomic Co., Ltd., we help children learn about everyday antibacterial actions together with characters called "Antibacterial Squadron Metallic Zeo."
As part of career education for junior and senior high school students to learn what it means to work and to learn about renewable energy, we perform school visits and hold workshops. We visit junior high and high schools and hold classes. We also provide online classes as desired. We can also visit corporations, so feel free to contact us via the inquiry form if you would like for us to visit your company.
We participate in the activities of non-profit KIDS EARTH FUND, which provides economic assistance and
donates books, art materials, medicines, and more to children who have been emotionally scarred by illness,
conflict, disaster, etc.
We support these activities by using the children's drawings submitted to the
fund in our corporate calendars and leasing the artwork as well as by participating in workshops.
We participate in the activities of Shizensaibai Party, which promotes agriculture-welfare collaboration in
the aim of supporting the employment of persons with disabilities through agriculture.
Since fiscal 2020, together with employees of Saitamafukko Co., Ltd., which is engaged in
agriculture-welfare collaboration in Kumagaya City, Saitama, we harvest rice in a Koshihikari rice paddy
that we contract out. All of the rice is donated to a nearby children's cafeteria in the suburbs.
The Group companies Melife-West Co., Ltd., Melife Co., Ltd., and Melife-East Co., Ltd. have endorsed the Smile for People Project, a project of S-CORE HEARTS CO., LTD. Group, a special subsidiary of Noritz Corporation, to support the independence of people with disabilities, and continue to provide collected water heaters. The project outsources the disassembly and sorting of used water heaters to welfare companies, thereby not only recycling waste in Japan but also creating employment for people with disabilities at the same time.
Group company Melife-West Co., Ltd. organizes a soccer tournament for elementary school teams (U-10) in
Ishikawa.
The number of teams increases year after year, and around 400 elementary school students from
inside and outside the prefecture participate.
We will continue to contribute to children's futures and
local communities through sports.
Group company Sinanen Axia Co., Ltd. has been doing a community clean-up walk to pick up trash around the
Ibaraki branch office since 2011.
As cleaning professionals in charge of facility cleaning and building
maintenance, we will continue to contribute to beautification of the community.
Group company Sinanen Co., Ltd. has been promoting the Akari-no-Mori Project since fiscal 2020.
We
collaborate with municipalities and non-profit organizations on tree planting and forest protection
activities in the aim of creating bountiful forests and preventing global warming. The funds come from sales
of SINANEN Akari-no-Mori Denki, a plan using practically 100% renewable energy for electric power.
